Carmi Gordon

Welcome to my life. It's been a fairly gurgle gurgle kind of existence so far, but who knows. Watch this space.

Old MacCarmi Had A Farm

And this is where we stayed.

It was a little farm with lots of great things for little people to play with.

It's called North Bradbury Farm and Tracey and Chris live there with lots of animals and a regular stream of little people and parents.
They are fabulous hosts, and have a really great place for us to stay in. We had a really great time.

We stayed in a comfy converted barn and the best thing was ... I got to feed the animals.

The one in the green overall, that's Chris - he didn't eat the animal food, but the chickens did and the goats and the sheep and the ducks and ...

Did I mention that I like goats, and dogs, oh and sheep and being outdoors and bouncing on the trampoline. What, don't all farms have a trampoline?
Well not all farmers are like Tracey and Chris.

All in all, a very special holiday.

And we got to see my uncle Daren and auntie Pip and bump on the way back to London, any day now.

Up Up And Away

This is us in Devon.

This is going to take a bit of explaining. Originally we had this idea of getting on a plane and going somewhere hot, but then we decided that our poor planet didn't really deserve another blast of carbon dioxide so we went to Devon. And I got to fly a daddy airplane, which only contributes a little carbon dioxide to the atmosphere when my daddy gets out of breath. Zoom Zoom Zoom, we're off to the moon.

I had a great time until it all got a bit windy and coldy and snuffly and streamy and I had to get back in the car - more carbon dioxide. Told you it was going to get coplicated.

As for the piccies, hmmm. Daddy decided to put in the one of him looking smiley on the basis there are enough piccies of me looking smiley elsewhere (see blogs passim), and then he kept on zooming so fast that mummy couldn't really take a decent piccie. Lots of blurs, lots of half-in half-out of shot, lots of shots of my back, but I still think it's worth a post.

Snow Joke

"It's raining it's snowing the old man is grinning his kippah wonky," or something like that. Do ya think it will catch on?
This was fun, it only lasted for half a day, but at least it didn't go horribly mushy and mess up my nice smart bugabo.
Incidentally, I am having fun here, I mean it was cold and fluffy - what's not to enjoy, but my dad is clearly having a much better time than me. Which is a little odd. After all, he's seen snow loads of times.

At Least Cheese is Better Than Ham

So among the ever growing list of skills and talents I am developing on a day-by-day basis, I am proud to announce that I can now pose for the camera.

Point a lens at me and I'll grin goofily. Personally I think that goofy is the new black, darling, but apparantly it is less cute than the completely unprocessed head thrown back giggle, see entries passim. Really there is no explaining the taste of grown ups.

So this is me, just another day at the office. A hard morning's play at the coal front (toy box) - pose, a gentleman's luncheon - pose - and bath - pose. Smile at the camera now, grin.

Bobbing Away

So this is Bob and I playing at lions, or tigers, or bears, oh my.
It's a small photo, my dad took it with his phone and quality is iffy.
But the smile is big.
I like my Bob.
