Carmi Gordon

Welcome to my life. It's been a fairly gurgle gurgle kind of existence so far, but who knows. Watch this space.

Back in Blighty

And here is me back in a slightly cooler clime. I've just been for a dip in the pool. Really fun, and gosh, hard work. Oh on the subject of swims my Auntie Jaime has just done the Channel. The Channel!!That is seriously intense. Now I think I like water, I like a good long bath at the end of the day, but 14 hours, seven foot waves, jellyfish and all. That is seriously hard core. And raising a huge amount of money for MS. Well done Jaime. (you can see more at http://mermaids4ms.blogspot.com/ where there is a very cool video shot by auteur directeur Nicky and a link to the fundraising page.)

This is Bob and I, doing stuff we really love to do together. I really like that photo.

Ola

This was also great.
You may be detecting a certain theme to my summer, or at least my parents successes in remembering to take their camera with them when I'm at my cutest.

We went to Spain.
Papa's place which was great.
Some highlights - watermelon - WOW, who knew that when you shoved a really huge piece in your mouth you could still squeeze your mouth shut and then, no really, wait for it, all the red sticky juice would come dribbling down my chin and over my rather cute plump belly. Bliss, almost exstatic, as you can see from the piccie, not the most flattering, but it really was that tasty.

Being there with my papa, Tissy and Auntie Hen. Somehow, yours truly has successfully hogged all the photos, if you look very closely you can see a picture of Papa's back which I grant you is not the most flattering piccie of my papa, but it's a very cute picture. Well Tissy took that one.

And then just hanging out on the beach. Such fun. You grab a spade and waggle it around while Papa does all the hard work of constructing the sand castles, and then I get to destroy them. This is really quite easy this play thing, as long as you have a Papa around to do all the hard work.

Moore on the Moore

These are the boys, And the girls,
Cute huh?
And then, just for good measure a really cute photo of me, my mum and dad on some river somewhere.
A really lovely photo of my unc & aunt and coz and then, and I really love this one – me playing patta-cake with Talya with our mummies.
What fun.
We’re going to do it again.
Somewhere safe from floods. We were thinking about the Swiss Cottage Marriot.

:-)

Moored on Dartmoore

My mum and day, together with unc Daren, Auntie Pip and Talya headed to Dartmoor. Actuaally, there was going to be more of us. Malka and Bob were going to come with, but it twas the day of the great floods of the summer of '07. Floods everywhere. The trains got stuck, Malka and Bob got stuck, it took until 2am until they limped home. And the rest of us had to go on without them.
Sad.

But what a fun weekend
